Internship: Working as a Research Assistant
Undergraduate and graduate students interested in learning about advanced research in English may apply for a 1-3 credit internship or a graduate assistantship working with me as a research assistant. Currently my work focuses on digital scholarship of eighteenth-century British works, and internship work would involve both textual editing as well as utilizing basic coding skills in eXtensible Markup Language (XML). (This work may also be part of the new Internship in the Digital Humanities.)
For more information, contact me. Undergraduates, please see the internships website or speak to Professor Roopika Risam about the Internship in the Digital Humanities.
Presenting at the Massachusetts Statewide Undergraduate Research Conference
Each year, at the end of the spring semester, a statewide conference is held for original student scholarship. This is a great opportunity to present a paper written during the fall semester, as abstracts for the conference are generally due in February.
